Brand identity refresh and new website for a biomanufacturing services provider

Challenge:

A Belgian biomanufacturing services and technology provider that enables sustainable bioproduction in emerging markets, wanted to revitalize its brand identity. The brand needed to clearly communicate their story and align more closely with the company's core values. With a diverse range of stakeholders, including biopharma manufacturers, governments and global health agencies, they needed a brand presence that could effectively address each audience.

Solution:

We began by developing a messaging hierarchy that provided a structured framework to tailor their messaging for different audiences. Next we refreshed their brand identity, breathing new life into the logo through the introduction of a new typeface and colour palette. By incorporating bold photography, a modern approach and simple design we helped to tell their complex story of how they advise, design, build and bring bioproduction facilities to reality. A new, more approachable website helped to showcase the human aspect of the company’s brand and services.

Insight:

Establishing a well-defined messaging hierarchy was fundamental to guide the development of the logo, colour palette, photography and overall look and feel that conveyed the company’s values while speaking to a diverse set of stakeholders.
